Blocks dirt/dust well , during dyno day we were struggling to build boost making 490 hp at 8 pounds after removing filter cover we jumped from 8 pounds to 17 at 650 hp.

The Dust Cover is designed as an additional protective layer for dusty/dirty conditions and will naturally add airflow restriction compared with running the Turbo Filter/Guard alone. For dyno pulls or maximum-performance applications where maximum airflow is the priority, we recommend removing the Dust Cover. NGR sock filter restricts boost!!!
I was having an issue building boost, the Vortech wouldnt make more than 6psi. We took off the filter and it made 12 psi at the same rpm. We were trouble shooting boost leaks meanwhile it was this filter. The filter is great at keeping dirt out. You see a nice layer of dirt that it catches after you drive it. Definitely will be using it for road trips

Use this over my Street Guard filter and it works great. Picks up a lot of dust from the road that would’ve otherwise gotten into the turbo.

Simple design extremely responsive i had to do the ine spring mod as it was too tight for my boost pressure but amazing sound even recirculating. Very much recommend is worth the money and it seals completely.
